Catholic Counselling
Bringing together mental health & Catholicism
Hi there,
I’m Níall. I’m here because I believe mental health and faith in Christ go hand-in-hand with one another and, possibly, that's why you’re here, too. My ministry is to accompany people journeying through psychological difficulties by offering a mental health ministry integrated with the fullness of the Catholic faith. If you’re seeking more from life, let’s connect!
In my youth, following a number of personal tragedies, I was forced to re-evaluate my life from the inside out. Through the challenge of facing my brokenness, I found healing and peace in God’s love and mercy.
Today, I recognise a need for us to return to an understanding of mental health in the context of our relationship with God the Father. As I myself received, and still receive, so much grace and healing from this model of understanding, I want to share that gift with others through authentic Catholic psychotherapy.
Sincerely,
Níall

What we do
Our main aim is to help people flourish, in the most authentic way achievable: encountering the healing love of Jesus Christ, through the Counselling process. We address complex emotional, psychological, and relational challenges, guided by God's profound desire for our freedom. Catholic Counselling is working to bring about personal transformation, helping people activate the fullness of their Sacramental graces through encountering the gospel message in a new way.
Let’s talk
Finding a therapist that fits your needs is vital. A free introductory session is a good opportunity to see if I am a right fit for you. Our free session is a low-pressure opportunity to ask questions in confidence and there is no commitment required!
Why Catholic Counselling?
People who seek Counselling are often looking for some integration with Christianity. However, new age concepts often mimic Christianity, this means that finding the right support can be a risky undertaking.
“Man’s ultimate healing can only be God’s love” says Pope Benedict, therefore, the goal at Catholic Counselling is to help people find the appropriate support that is consistent with the teaching of the Catholic Church.
